Application Specialist (Food Ingredients, On-site, Brabrand)

Job summary

This role involves leveraging food ingredient expertise to develop innovative dessert and nutritional beverage solutions for a global clientele. The position is based in Brabrand, Denmark, within a collaborative international team focused on technical excellence and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in dairy, beverages, or food ingredient supply
• Proven background in food ingredients and processing technologies
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a global team
• Experience in providing technical service and application support
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally for about 30 days per year

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and contribute to product development projects for desserts and nutritional beverages
• Provide technical service and application support to customers worldwide
• Address daily customer and sales needs with application expertise
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and application notes
• Create sales support materials including concepts and presentations
• Manage technical service requests efficiently
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project execution

Skills

• Experience in dessert or nutritional beverage applications is a plus
• Proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous
• Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills

Education

• Relevant degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with food processing technologies and documentation tools.
