Business Development Specialist II (Remote, Global)

Job summary

This role involves leading the coordination, writing, and editing of public funding proposals and projects across various global and regional teams, focusing on conservation efforts and sustainable practices. This is a two-year, term-limited position with flexibility in location across select regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in writing, reviewing, and editing public funding proposals.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage multiple complex projects, particularly in public funding.
• Experience in designing organization-wide public funding and proposal development tools.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a proposal manager and writer, coordinating the development and submission of proposals.
• Prepare and write proposal materials, including project theories of change and budgets.
• Act as an expert resource for global and regional teams on public funding proposals.
• Strengthen proposal development capacity and contribute to public funding strategy and targets.
