Cloud Solution Architect (AI, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves working as a Cloud Solution Architect specializing in AI, focusing on enabling customers to achieve their goals through strategic investments in cloud technology. The position emphasizes technical discussions with customers to maximize their investments and overcome challenges in data and AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer IT and business leaders to understand their application, data, and AI priorities, designing secure and scalable solutions.
• Lead technical engagements including architecture design, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to promote Azure AI and related services.
• Ensure successful technical delivery and customer satisfaction in collaboration with Customer Success Account Managers (CSAM).
• Generate incremental pipeline from engagements and align with Unified Enterprise Support priorities.
• Develop repeatable intellectual property (IP) to enhance deployment efficiency and achieve desired outcomes.
• Oversee delivery and provide escalation support for key AI and App Innovation projects.
• Ensure the health, security, and optimization of critical workloads for production-scale AI use cases.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer, providing feedback to engineering teams for product improvements.
• Conduct technical workshops and readiness activities to support customer skilling and solution performance.
• Maintain expertise in Azure, AI, GitHub, and cloud-native development trends.
• Achieve advanced and expert-level proficiency in key workloads such as Azure AI Foundry and Cosmos DB.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with experience in cloud technologies or IT consulting/support.
• Strong hands-on experience with machine learning and AI solutions, from data preparation to deployment.
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles, including fairness and governance.
• Ability to connect technical strategies with business priorities for value realization.
• Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake, or similar platforms.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and technical projects.
• Technical certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google).
