Job summary

Seeking a skilled Control System Engineer to design and specify control strategies and software functionality for advanced refrigeration systems. This role involves close collaboration with embedded software engineers to ensure that system behavior aligns with clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate system behavior and performance requirements into specifications for the embedded software team.
• Define and specify new features and control strategies for refrigeration controllers.
• Collaborate with embedded software engineers, hardware engineers, and external partners.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving efforts.
• Provide technical input to service and quality teams.

Qualifications

Personal qualities

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
• Experience in control systems engineering.
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools such as Simulink.
• Knowledge of control design, estimation, and system-level thinking.
• Experience with thermodynamic systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (Danish is advantageous).
• Structured, curious, and analytical mindset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a technical approach.
• Quality-conscious and results-driven.
• Capable of clearly communicating complex technical topics.
• Collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership.
