Responsibilities

• Enable data engineers to deliver high-quality data platforms and pipelines.
• Attract and grow talent within the teams.
• Foster an inclusive culture for optimal team performance.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on data architecture decisions.
• Ensure data architecture and pipelines meet long-term product goals.
• Work with Product & Engineering leaders to improve data engineering practices.

Skills

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
• Familiarity with data warehouses/lakehouses and Postgres DB.
• Experience in cloud environments (GCP, cloud run, Grafana, k8s).
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Education

• Relevant experience in data engineering or related fields.

Tools

• Data pipeline orchestration tools, cloud platforms, data warehouses/lakehouses.
