EHS Specialist (Pharmaceutical, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves acting as an EHS subject matter expert within a Drug Product team, focusing on enhancing safety culture and compliance in operations. The EHS Specialist will provide expert guidance and drive continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in an EHS role.
• Solid understanding of EHS management systems, tools, and practices.
• Strong knowledge of EU and Danish EHS regulations.
• Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing) is preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the EHS expert, partnering with stakeholders to ensure compliance and safe operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate EHS risks, including chemical and process-related risks.
• Lead EHS impact assessments and support Change Control processes.
• Drive incident reporting and investigations, ensuring effective preventive actions.
• Support and enhance the EHS Management System, processes, and training.
• Coach colleagues and conduct inspections to improve safety performance and compliance.

Education

• Relevant educational background in EHS management or related fields.
