Job summary

An Electrical Engineer is sought to join a Sustainable Melting team, focusing on Medium Voltage systems across various project phases, including design, testing, and commissioning. The role involves working on projects that transition from fossil fuels to green electricity, with responsibilities spanning from factory rebuilds to new facility constructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience with Medium Voltage systems in industrial or power-related projects
• Proficient in electrical design and documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Experience in network analysis, including short circuit and load flow calculations
• Understanding of transformer specifications and power conversion technologies
• Familiarity with control interfaces and system integration
• Knowledge of installation procedures and project planning
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage Medium Voltage scope in melting projects from specifications to after service
• Lead design efforts and collaborate with management for optimal solutions
• Enhance design quality based on current knowledge and supplier relationships
• Travel 60-80 days per year, primarily within Europe
