Job summary

This part-time remote freelance position involves managing specialized data scraping workflows within a hybrid AI and human system. The role requires technical expertise in web scraping and data extraction to ensure accurate and actionable results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis, AI automation, data engineering, or software development is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or above is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data extraction workflows from complex websites, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets.
• Utilize internal tools (Apify, OpenRouter) and custom workflows to enhance data collection and validation processes.
• Adapt scraping techniques to extract data from dynamic web sources, including JavaScript-rendered content.
• Maintain data quality through validation checks and adherence to formatting specifications before delivery.
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets, monitor failures, and ensure stability against minor site structure changes.

Skills

• Proficient in Python web scraping using tools like BeautifulSoup and Selenium for handling complex sites and dynamic content.
• Expertise in data extraction and processing, including cleaning and normalizing data for high-quality output.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI frameworks to improve automation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues effectively.
