Junior Application Engineer (Medical Devices, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Product Creation (R&D) teams in the medical device sector by managing IT applications, automations, and AI tools to enhance product development processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or relevant experience in IT systems, preferably in regulated industries such as MedTech or Pharma.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in languages like Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, and automation technologies.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Familiarity with digital work in regulated environments, including Computerized System Validation and ISO13485.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, and integrate various applications and tools.
• Serve as the technical expert for Jama Connect, focusing on requirements, test, and risk management.
• Work with AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Support integration activities and collaborate with tool vendors.
• Assist in validation activities and ensure compliance documentation is maintained.
• Analyze system usage and propose optimizations to enhance workflows.
