Laboratory Assistant (Biopharmaceuticals, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting daily operations in the Analytical Method Development department, focusing on material flow and laboratory maintenance. The position is practical and routine-based, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on tasks and has a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Structured and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Service-minded and solution-oriented.
• Experience in a laboratory or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fluent communication in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage material flow and maintain the kanban system to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the release of chemicals and materials for laboratory use.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in the laboratory, including dishwashing and maintenance of work areas.
• Create new items in relevant systems as needed.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Education

• Formal laboratory education is not required.

Tools

• Familiarity with laboratory management systems is beneficial.
