Job summary

This role involves working as a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on improving equipment within the prepared foods sector, specifically mixers and grinders. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team and requires creativity in developing innovative mechanical design solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, or related technical field).
• Several years of experience in engineering technical systems, preferably in the food industry.
• Proficiency with drawing tools, databases, and documentation preparation programming.
• Familiarity with CAD and PDM/PLM tools.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a group of equipment, implementing design updates for continuous improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy of technical documentation for manufacturability.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements and international standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to design and develop mechanical solutions, including creating necessary documentation and bills of materials.
• Focus on functional, hygienic, and safety aspects, as well as cost efficiency.
• Deliver specifications on time for customer solutions.
