Moulding Process Engineer (Manufacturing, Remote/Global)

Job summary

This role involves testing and validating new technologies and platforms within the moulding process, focusing on optimizing moulds for production stability and efficiency. The engineer will work collaboratively to ensure high-quality mould production and documentation.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Fluent in mother language and proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Expert knowledge of moulding processes and materials.
• Familiarity with moulding machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation and execution of test plans to gather knowledge and data.
• Engage in cross-functional meetings focused on moulding processes.
• Network globally to align tasks and solutions related to moulds and moulding processes.
• Ensure the quality of moulding processes meets global standards during technology validation.
• Support both internal and external suppliers.
• Develop training materials that are globally aligned.
• Collaborate on the development of new mould types and optimization methods.
• Test new machines and equipment for validation purposes.
• Work closely with planning teams to manage daily operations and deliveries.
• Drive small projects to support the entire value chain.
