Job summary

This internship offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about toy invention and play exploration. Interns will engage in early-stage ideation, concept development, and prototyping within a creative team focused on innovative play experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be a student for the entire duration of the internship (September 2026 - December 2026).
• Expected to graduate after December 31, 2026.
• Internship must contribute to course credit and be a compulsory part of education.

Responsibilities

• Envision new play universes and create prototypes to bring concepts to life.
• Research and explore innovative technologies and materials for play.
• Communicate ideas through sketches, models, and digital mockups.
• Develop new LEGO elements and utilize various tools for prototyping.
• Test prototypes and gather feedback to refine ideas.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance innovation missions.

Skills

• Experience in sketching, painting, sculpture, graphic design, and LEGO model building.
• Familiarity with electronics, 3D CAD programs, game engines, and coding.
• Strong curiosity, bravery in facing challenges, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant educational program is required.

Tools

• Prototyping tools including SMART Bricks, LEGO motors, breadboards, and electronic components.
