Production Supervisor (Medical Devices, Onsite)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing production operations during weekend night shifts, focusing on planning, prioritization, and reporting to ensure optimal resource utilization while meeting quality and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management within a production environment, preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of planning, KPIs, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.

Work Setup

• Ensure production targets are achieved on time and within quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager and Resource Coordinator to prioritize resources and machinery effectively.
• Lead and motivate the team, handling hiring, disciplinary actions, and other personnel matters.
• Ensure operators receive proper training for flexibility across machine/process groups.
• Identify cross-training needs to cover absenteeism and overtime requirements.
• Manage vacation planning in coordination with resource coordinators.
• Maintain staffing levels according to the agreed model and work to minimize team absenteeism.
• Proficiency in English and Danish is required.
• The position requires onsite presence, primarily on the shop floor.
