Senior Automated Logistics Engineer (Pharmaceutical, Kalundborg)

Job summary

The role involves designing, integrating, and executing automated logistics solutions within complex IT and OT environments for large-scale pharmaceutical projects. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality, compliant deliveries during the execution phase of projects while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated logistics and complex data structures in industrial settings.
• Understanding of IT and OT system integration, including ERP, MES, and DCS/PCS layers.
• Experience with system integration testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial networks and communication protocols such as OPC-UA and Profinet.
• Knowledge of GMP/GAMP requirements in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver automated logistics solutions in operational technology environments.
• Integrate control systems with platforms like SAP EWM, PAS-X, fleet managers, DCS, and PLC solutions.
• Contribute to standardization efforts and alignment with target architectures.
• Document, test, and verify solutions in both new and existing facilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including customers, IT partners, and suppliers.
