Senior Project Engineering Manager (Energy, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves leading engineering activities for large energy projects, focusing on safety, quality, timely delivery, and cost management. The position requires coordination of design activities and technical leadership in electrical design and engineering.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a lead engineer in an EPC environment.
• Successful track record in project technical management within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid submissions and technical documentation for projects.
• Provide technical expertise in substation design and primary plant solutions.
• Manage engineering activities and ensure technical coordination across project functions.
• Oversee design change processes and manage project design budgets.
• Lead design teams and ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and manage scope changes.
• Validate designs for customer acceptance and ensure compliance with technical requirements.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution industry and Renewable Energy systems is beneficial.

Education

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Tools

• Familiarity with GIS systems is advantageous.
