Solutions Engineer (Remote, Early-Stage Startup)

Job summary

The role involves acting as a technical liaison between a platform and its customers, focusing on ensuring the technical success of client accounts and translating their goals into actionable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in solutions engineering, technical customer success, or similar technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines and debugging data quality issues in production.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and experience with predictive models.
• Knowledge of CRM or marketing automation platforms is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to clients.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Preference for in-office work environment.
• Enthusiasm for the fast-paced nature of startups.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical success of assigned accounts and develop solutions within the platform.
• Engage with data and models to create and implement ML-driven features, ensuring data integrity across integrations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess use cases, prototype solutions, and address product issues.
• Work closely with Lifecycle Engineers to support client relationships from a technical perspective.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and take on significant responsibilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, dbt, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to read and debug code within customer data pipelines.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with data integration tools and platforms such as Braze and Sailthru.
