Job summary

The role involves shaping the strategic direction of a rapidly growing B2B distributor of building materials, focusing on value creation, performance acceleration, and transformation initiatives across Europe. The Strategy Manager will collaborate closely with executive management and lead critical strategic projects.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in management consultancy or a strategic role in a larger international company.
  • Strong academic background with a master’s degree in Strategy, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field with top results.
  • Experience in the B2B distribution industry or similar B2C business is a plus.
  • Fluency in a Nordic language and English; German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Co-facilitate strategic work and support strategy update/review processes.
  • Build and monitor group-wide strategy and pipeline to meet business targets.
  • Collaborate with local business units to enhance performance visibility and value creation.
  • Lead transformation projects in preparation for an exit process.
  • Identify new strategic opportunities and performance enhancements.
  • Prepare actionable recommendations for senior executives and present findings.
  • Engage with top strategy professionals across Europe to share best practices.

  • Ability to balance detailed work with high-level discussions with executives.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.

Education

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
