Structural Engineer (Offshore, Esbjerg/Copenhagen/Aarhus)

Job summary

This position involves working as a Structural Engineer in the offshore sector, focusing on the reassessment and design of aging platforms and onshore facilities. The role emphasizes collaboration and innovation within a specialized team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural and Civil Engineering
• Significant experience in structural steel design, including static and dynamic analysis
• Proven background in the offshore industry, particularly with jackets and riser systems
• Familiarity with offshore standards such as ISO, NORSOK, EuroCode, DNV
• Experience in leading small project teams is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct reassessment and lifetime extension of aging offshore platforms
• Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed design of offshore structures and onshore process facilities
• Execute advanced global analyses for various structural scenarios
• Reassess and design structural details
• Engage with clients and manage deliverables
• Contribute to internal development for design optimization

Skills

• Proficient in industry software such as ROSAP, SACS, and/or SESAM (preferred: ROSAP)
• Strong user skills in Excel, MathCad, MATLAB, and Python
• Excellent communication skills in English; Danish is a plus
