Tax Technology Manager (Senior, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on the intersection of tax, finance, and IT, guiding clients through global reporting initiatives and modernizing tax processes using digital tools. The position involves collaboration with IT developers and client teams to transform tax data management amidst increasing regulatory demands.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Taxation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in tax accounting, reporting, and direct tax, with expertise in OECD regulations and BEPS.
• Familiarity with tax technology and large-scale transformation projects, particularly with SAP.
• Strong project management skills, preferably with agile methodology experience.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops to gather requirements and document user needs.
• Create and maintain design documentation that aligns with business objectives.
• Develop strategies for digitalizing direct tax processes and advise on technology platforms.
• Analyze direct tax regulations and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with delivery teams for SAP solution deployment and support during user acceptance testing.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders for integration purposes.
• Stay updated on advancements in tax technology.
