AI & Data Architect Manager (Remote, Healthcare)

Job summary

This role focuses on designing and delivering cloud-scale data solutions and production AI capabilities to enhance patient outcomes. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and mentoring of engineers to elevate technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data/AI/ML, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years in data engineering/architecture, with 2+ years in delivering GenAI & AI/ML solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead data modeling and engineering across advanced data platforms, ensuring enterprise data quality standards.
• Architect and deliver scalable cloud data solutions using platforms like Snowflake.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures, including microservices and DevOps practices.
• Oversee the development and execution of test plans and data validation in a CI/CD environment.
• Drive root cause analysis for production data/AI issues and implement monitoring controls.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver end-to-end implementations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Guide contractors and maintain architecture standards while leading moderately complex projects.
• Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and identify reusable components to enhance delivery.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake, cloud-native platforms, and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of enterprise data quality standards and monitoring techniques.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI & AI/ML solutions, including vector databases and unstructured data processing.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
