Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or certifications such as CPA or CFA preferred
  • Over 10 years of experience in senior finance or accounting roles, preferably in hospitality or real estate
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards
  • Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams in high-growth settings

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy, planning, and reporting at the property level, providing actionable insights through analysis and forecasting
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Manage financial consolidations and reporting for a large property portfolio
  • Establish and enforce accounting policies and internal controls
  • Direct cash management and handle complex financial analyses
  • Mentor Finance Managers and Property Accountants, ensuring team performance and development
  • Act as the escalation point for financial issues across the portfolio
  • Oversee revenue accounting operations and drive process improvements
  • Lead finance-related projects, including automation and system enhancements
