Associate Manager (Manufacturing, Kalundborg)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing a team of approximately 20 operators in a manufacturing environment, focusing on daily production with an emphasis on safety, delivery, and quality. The Associate Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager and other team members to ensure optimal operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in personnel management, preferably in the process industry.
• Technical background or education in engineering or a related field, with hands-on production experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels and maintain a positive atmosphere under pressure.
• Ambitious in developing both staff and business through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate closely with process engineers and technicians to support operational execution.
• Implement and develop LEAN tools for performance improvement and systematic problem-solving.

Skills

• Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in the food industry, including knowledge of GMP, documentation, and compliance requirements is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant technical education or engineering degree preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with LEAN methodologies and performance management tools.
