Business Controller (Finance, Energy, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves providing financial expertise to influence strategic decisions and improve business performance within the Energy sector. The Business Controller will support management teams with high-quality financial planning and analysis, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Economics, or Mathematics from a recognized university.
• Experience in commercial finance or business partnering, particularly in multicultural or international environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform core financial activities and lead performance reviews.
• Manage Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting with detailed analysis for leadership.
• Guide budgeting and forecasting cycles with business leaders.
• Oversee Working Capital management and risk assessment.
• Promote continuous improvement in financial processes and tools, including Power BI and ERP systems.

Skills

• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Economics, or Mathematics.

Tools
