Business Intelligence Consultant (Public Sector, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools to support business teams in enhancing performance and achieving key metrics. The consultant will analyze requirements, design BI solutions, and ensure data quality while providing training and support to users.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reporting analysis, design, and programming principles.
• Familiarity with industry-standard reporting tools such as Crystal and Business Objects.
• Understanding of database systems including MS SQL and Oracle.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL concepts.
• Experience with ERP technologies like SAP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Collect and analyze data to improve business metrics and customer experience.
• Design and develop BI tools, reports, and dashboards.
• Perform data conversions and manage data quality in the Metadata Repository.
• Troubleshoot BI tools and resolve data inconsistencies.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting standards.
