Custody Manager (Finance, Remote)

Job summary

The Custody Manager is responsible for overseeing the safekeeping, settlement, and administration of client securities assets, ensuring the integrity of significant customer holdings within the capital markets. This role involves managing the custody lifecycle for brokerage and Trading API customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in securities custody, clearing, or brokerage operations, ideally within the Saudi or GCC capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of Edaa depository services and Tadawul settlement processes.
• In-depth understanding of CMA regulations and client asset protection requirements.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in managing reconciliation processes and resolving settlement issues.
• Proven ability to develop and improve operational procedures in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily custody operations workflow, including trade settlement and position reconciliation.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and financial institutions.
• Design and enhance operational processes to support business growth and compliance.
• Lead corporate actions processing and ensure adherence to CMA regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to automate custody workflows.
• Mentor and develop a team of custody operations professionals.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and risk-aware mindset.
• Experience in managing or mentoring a team.
• Familiarity with Saudi-listed asset classes and digital asset custody.

Education

• Relevant professional certifications such as CME-1 are a plus.

Tools

• Familiarity with APIs and automation tools is beneficial.
