Data Analyst (Health Research, Remote)

Job summary

This position is for a data analyst with a focus on women's mental health during menopause, working on a large international research project. The role involves collaboration with researchers across multiple countries and requires strong quantitative skills to analyze health datasets.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative skills with experience in analyzing large population-based health datasets.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
• Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, public health, data science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred; candidates expecting to complete their Master’s by June 2026 are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in applying quantitative methods to mental health research.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and harmonize large-scale cohort and register data.
• Conduct statistical analyses of longitudinal health data, including time-to-event analyses and regression modeling.
• Collaborate with project team members to develop and implement analytical strategies.
• Contribute to causal inference approaches and ensure reproducible analytical workflows.
• Assist in the preparation of scientific manuscripts and research outputs.

Skills

• Experience with survival analysis and prediction modeling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with causal inference methods or pharmacoepidemiology is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field.
