Qualifications

  • University degree in a quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Knowledge of modeling techniques including Logistic Regression, CHAID/CART, and Random Forest.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver advanced models for risk assessment and management.
  • Enhance model calibration, stability, and predictive power through re-calibrations and adjustments.
  • Conduct monitoring and back-testing of models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business needs and data insights.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analytical tasks as required.

Skills

  • Strong programming skills in relevant languages.
  • Experience with model development and governance in a risk context.
  • Ability to adapt to change and drive innovation in modeling approaches.

Education

  • A degree in a numerate discipline is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with analytics and modeling tools such as SAS, SQL, R, and Python is essential.
