Financial Controller (Accounting, Copenhagen)

Job summary

A Financial Controller is sought to enhance financial reporting and consolidation processes in a dynamic, international environment. This role involves shaping new processes and collaborating with finance teams globally.

Qualifications

• MSc or BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Accounting or Audit qualification is a plus
• Over 3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting & Controlling, preferably in an international setting
• Strong understanding of consolidation and reporting under IFRS and DK GAAP
• Experience in managing projects across functions or geographies
• Proficient in advanced Excel and familiar with the MS Power Platform

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial controlling for regional and consolidated financials
• Assist regional accounting teams to ensure compliance with regulations
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors on group reporting
• Monitor IFRS standards and evaluate their implications for the group
• Maintain accounting manuals and financial reporting guidelines
• Conduct monthly consolidation and manage the global Chart of Accounts
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and participate in strategic accounting projects
