Financial Planning Specialist (Renewable Energy, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves contributing to financial planning within the renewable energy sector, focusing on performance management and reporting for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, controlling, or related fields.
• Experience in financial planning and reporting processes within a global enterprise.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow accounting.
• Background in an FP&A function in an international context.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recurring 18-month rolling forecasting and reporting activities, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet management reporting.
• Develop and communicate the financial performance management framework, including review cycles and planning calendars.
• Oversee annual planning processes and ensure the supporting system infrastructure is effective.
• Maintain and enhance the financial planning system to support performance management processes.
• Assist with performance analysis across the value chain and respond to ad hoc requests.
