Job summary

This role involves designing, building, and operating cloud-based services and web/mobile applications aimed at improving maternal and newborn health. The position requires collaboration with international teams and focuses on developing high-impact digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in MEAN/MERN stack technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven solutions.
• Understanding of software design principles and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug across the full stack and cloud.
• Experience in writing and reviewing requirements, test plans, and design documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack mobile & web applications.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces and develop server-side logic.
• Manage databases and write efficient queries.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Integrate AI/ML models into applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and optimize applications for performance.
• Ensure quality and performance of software applications through code reviews and testing.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments through CI/CD pipelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, and related frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless functions.
• Good cross-cultural communication skills.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry) is a plus.
• Familiarity with health information standards (e.g., FHIR) is advantageous.
