Group Financial Controller (Finance, Nordhavn)

Job summary

Seeking a Group Financial Controller to enhance financial transparency and reporting quality within the organization. This role involves collaboration with C-level executives, finance teams, and external partners to support financial development.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall work experience, with at least 5 years in controller or accounting positions.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Proficient in English and Microsoft software tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective accounting practices in line with group policies.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities and deliver timely reports.
• Act as a super user for the Group consolidation system, ensuring data quality.
• Assist local accounting teams with ERP system usage to facilitate business operations.
• Contribute to internal and external reporting, including Group reports.
• Support the audit process with thorough documentation and alignment.
• Manage IFRS16 reporting for the Group.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to aid decision-making.
• Assist in financial support for strategy development and financial modeling.
• Participate in M&A financial integration and governance activities.
• Support internal controls and financial risk management initiatives.
