Job summary

This role involves leading the compliance framework and program implementation for the healthcare sector in the Nordics. The Health Care Compliance Officer will set the strategic direction for the compliance program, ensuring adherence to internal policies, local laws, and global anti-corruption regulations. The position serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and plays a key role in shaping external policy environments to support sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business, Medical, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of business experience, with at least 3 years in compliance, legal, regulatory, or ethics roles, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Proven leadership experience in compliance functions, with a minimum of 2 years in Health Care Compliance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, anti-corruption laws, and industry codes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term compliance strategy for the region, aligning global objectives with local business needs.
• Act as a key member of the local leadership team, influencing governance and decision-making.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed compliance into strategic business decisions.
• Manage compliance risk assessments and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Oversee compliance investigations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Lead training and development initiatives to foster a culture of accountability and integrity.
