About the role

Job summary

This position is for a Junior Analyst to assist with Financial Planning & Analysis and Procurement tasks within a finance department. The role offers valuable exposure to financial analysis, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives while working approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling around academic commitments.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics, or a related field, with plans to pursue a relevant master’s program.
  • Strong academic performance, ideally ranked among the top of the class.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to understand broader contexts.
  • Proactive, structured, and independent work style with a willingness to learn.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team-oriented with a preference for collaborative, international environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and monthly/quarterly reporting processes.
  • Prepare data extracts, tables, dashboards, and initial variance analyses.
  • Conduct basic data validation, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Support the preparation of service level agreements through data gathering.
  • Manage travel reporting activities.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze vendor, spend, and contract data for procurement.
  • Conduct category analysis by consolidating spend data across regions.
  • Aid in vendor and contract administration, including managing databases and renewals.
  • Support market research, benchmarking, and various procurement projects.
  • Contribute to digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop visual guides and standard operating procedures for internal use.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress, with a focus on relevant fields such as Business Administration or Finance.
