Junior Operations Associate (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Operations team with various recurring tasks and day-to-day operations, focusing on achieving operational excellence through both repetitive tasks and ad hoc projects. The position is part-time, estimated at 15 hours per week, with flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative skills and a problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Structured approach to work.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
• High proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Coding skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash and positions reconciliation.
• Prepare compliance reports.
• Assist with trade settlements.
• Support the onboarding process for new funds.
• Contribute to system maintenance and process improvement initiatives.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant educational program in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
