Lead Software Architect (Technology, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves defining and driving the software product vision, focusing on transforming software products into a modular, upgradeable, and scalable suite with stable interfaces. The position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in architectural coherence and quality across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Architect, Lead Software Developer, or Technical Lead in a software suite environment.
• Strong background in API design, system integration, and modular architectural principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing practices.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a decoupling strategy to enhance modularity and stability between products and projects.
• Facilitate an architectural forum to ensure compliance with the software product vision.
• Coordinate architectural activities across departments and lead internal architectural discussions.
• Review and design high-level solution concepts for new and existing products.
• Assess and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and practices.
• Support the development of technology roadmaps and transition from legacy to modern architectures.

Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in software architecture and development practices.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
