Lead Technology Risk Analyst (Compliance, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves managing technology risk related to regulatory relations and market compliance, responding to inquiries from customers and regulators, and overseeing action plans for audit findings. The analyst will collect information for meetings and reports, analyze risk assessment findings, and support the development of risk management processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in law, finance, business management, or IT-related field.
• Previous experience in technology risk management.
• Background in IT, banking, payment, or fintech sectors, particularly in compliance roles.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and regulatory inquiries, mapping control domains to established standards.
• Collaborate with business owners to create and execute action plans for compliance issues.
• Lead the information collection process for customer and regulator meetings.
• Analyze and report on risk assessment findings to internal stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
• Create presentations and memos for senior leadership.

Skills

• Knowledge of Risk and Control Framework standards (e.g., SOC 1, SOC 2).
• Strong IT technical knowledge, including awareness of emerging technologies.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management.

Education

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
