PHP Backend Developer (Remote)

Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a backend developer with full ownership of infrastructure and tooling.
• Track record of managing systems with over 100K customers, including reporting and integrations.
• Strong PHP development skills, with familiarity in frameworks like Symfony or PrestaShop being a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously from requirements gathering to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure and services to enhance scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and translate them into technical requirements.
• Enable team leads to access data and infrastructure for independent solution development.
• Manage projects from scoping through to testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Improve internal systems for better performance and accessibility.
• Create user-friendly workflows for non-technical users.
