About the role

Job summary

This role is a maternity cover for 18 months, starting July 1, 2026, focusing on consulting with diagnostic laboratories, cattle producers, and veterinary practices to enhance the use of ruminant products and services. The position involves collaboration with sales and marketing teams to provide medical training and support, as well as managing field trials and technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required.
  • Strong knowledge of current issues in the dairy and beef industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluent in English and ideally one additional European language.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with laboratory managers and veterinarians on medical protocols.
  • Represent the organization at seminars and educational sessions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide medical product training.
  • Create and review technical materials and assist in training sessions.
  • Support ruminant disease programs and identify customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures related to product complaints.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide technical advice.

Education

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Workday, and Salesforce.com.
  • Office or remote/home office setup with extensive travel (up to 75%) mainly in Europe, including visits to veterinary clinics and participation in tradeshows.
