About the role

Job summary

This role involves developing LLM-powered systems and workflows to enhance healthcare products. The focus is on building reliable AI solutions that improve medical expertise access and clinician efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python with experience in production-grade codebases.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), including training, fine-tuning, and operating inference services.
  • Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and performance evaluation methods.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps practices for deploying and monitoring ML systems.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with healthcare data and clinical NLP.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement LLM-powered features for production use.
  • Develop frameworks for coordinating multiple AI components.
  • Create systems for context engineering and tool usage.
  • Establish evaluation frameworks for LLM and agent performance.
  • Collaborate with product and platform teams to integrate AI capabilities into scalable features.
  • Enhance the reliability, latency, and cost efficiency of AI pipelines.

Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across research, engineering, and product teams.

Education

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Tools

  • Apache Kafka, NVIDIA Triton Inference Server, FastAPI, Go, Kubernetes, and common MLOps tools.
