Job summary

This role is for a Senior Data Engineer focused on enhancing and modernizing enterprise data landscapes, specifically utilizing SAP Datasphere and SAP BW/4HANA. The position involves collaboration with various teams to ensure high-quality data products and seamless integration across platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in data engineering within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven implementation experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP BW, including data modeling and integration.
• Strong skills in ABAP, SQL, and Python, with a solid understanding of engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines using SAP Datasphere and SAP BW.
• Integrate SAP-based data products into the broader enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and dbt.
• Collaborate with BI specialists and business stakeholders to create consumer-ready data products.
• Evolve data engineering best practices around modeling, testing, and documentation.
• Act as a technical partner within the data engineering team, contributing to design reviews and architectural discussions.

Skills

• Strong technical ownership of data products and ability to translate complex requirements into high-quality outputs.
• Pragmatic mindset with experience in CI/CD, IaC, or cloud platform operations being a plus.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
