Senior Data Engineering Specialist (Remote, Copenhagen)

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering or a similar role within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong expertise in modern data stacks, particularly dbt and Snowflake, along with advanced SQL and solid Python skills.
• Proven ability to design scalable data models and architectures, balancing best practices with real-world constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations using dbt, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Lead the development of robust, reusable data models for BI and advanced analytics.
• Define and promote best practices in testing, documentation, lineage, versioning, and observability.
• Shape data product architecture and contribute to key design decisions.
• Mentor local data teams and facilitate the adoption of the data platform.
• Collaborate with BI specialists and stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reliability across teams.

Skills

Education
