Job summary

This role involves joining a team focused on advanced analytics and risk modeling, with an emphasis on applying analytics to enhance responsible lending practices across the Nordic region. The position is open to candidates in any Nordic country where the company operates.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a numerate field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in credit risk or similar roles involving large datasets.
  • Familiarity with the Nordic market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver advanced models for regulatory parameters, scoring, and stress testing.
  • Improve model calibration, stability, and predictive power through re-calibrations and adjustments.
  • Conduct monitoring and back-testing of assigned models.
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand business needs and ensure effective communication of model deliveries.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analytical tasks as required.

Skills

  • Proficient in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, and Python.
  • Knowledge of modeling techniques including Logistic Regression, CHAID/CART, and Random Forest.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for innovation and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and work collaboratively.

Education

  • A degree in a numerate subject is required.

Tools

  • Experience with statistical modeling software and data analysis tools is essential.
