Job summary

This role is responsible for the technical delivery and evolution of an enterprise data platform, focusing on user experience and governance. The position involves leading data platform engineering and governance teams, ensuring that data governance is embedded into the platform, and managing relationships with cloud vendors.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing modern cloud data platforms at enterprise scale, preferably with Databricks on AWS.
• Proven leadership in platform or data infrastructure teams, emphasizing user adoption and satisfaction.
• Experience implementing governance as a platform capability, including automated quality checks and access controls.
• Background in maintaining an enterprise data model across multiple domains.
• Strong partnership skills with product teams to shape roadmaps based on user feedback.
• Technical judgment to communicate infrastructure trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing cloud expenditures and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

Education

• Relevant experience in data management, engineering, or a related field is essential.
