Job summary

An experienced Frontend Developer is sought to contribute to the Digital Wealth Engineering team, focusing on delivering high-quality frontend solutions in an Agile environment. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance user experiences in the Savings & Investment sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in frontend engineering, particularly with Typescript and Angular.
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and the npm ecosystem.
• Experience with RESTful API integration.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile team.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring platform reliability through rigorous testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to address challenges and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Debug and resolve complex frontend issues to maintain application stability.
• Maintain and contribute to community-driven libraries of reusable components and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and Angular ecosystem developments.
• Engage in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in Typescript and modern frameworks, particularly Angular.
• Familiarity with state management practices and libraries like NgRx.
• Experience with web components using libraries such as Lit and Stencil is a plus.
• Ability to write unit and end-to-end tests for robust applications.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with development tools and environments relevant to frontend development, including version control systems.
