Senior Manager, AI/BI Analytics Platform (Biotech, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the Enterprise AI/BI Analytics Platform, focusing on the strategy, architecture, and delivery of advanced business intelligence and AI-driven analytics capabilities across the organization. The position aims to transition from traditional dashboards to AI-enhanced, self-service analytics experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the enterprise BI ecosystem, including tools like Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI.
• Define platform standards and reduce tool fragmentation.
• Establish scalable patterns for dashboard development and governance.
• Drive migration to a unified, metadata-driven analytics experience.
• Develop and execute the roadmap for AI-enabled analytics, including natural language querying and automated insights.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, such as LLM-based analytics.
• Ensure integration between BI layers and business transformation logic.
• Collaborate with data governance to align on standards.
• Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the analytics platform.
• Promote data literacy and effective use of BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Bioinformatics preferred.
• 5-8+ years in BI, analytics, or data platform roles, with 3+ years in operational management.
• Experience in regulated industries like biotech or pharma is preferred.
• Proficient in at least two BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire).
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and SQL.
• Familiarity with metadata and governance concepts.
