Senior Manager (Supply Financing, Remote)

Job summary

This role is focused on leading the management of supply financing tools to ensure timely access to essential supplies for children and families in various contexts. The position involves strategic oversight of financing initiatives, particularly the Vaccine Independence Initiative (VII), to address funding gaps and improve market dynamics for critical commodities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of progressive managerial experience in complex operations related to financing initiatives and tools.
• Proven experience in market dynamics and analysis for health supplies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and professionalize the VII and other financing tools for sustainability.
• Lead efforts to expand VII and bridge financing tools to enhance operational timeliness.
• Identify opportunities for supply financing interventions in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Originate transactions utilizing VII, including negotiation of terms with countries and suppliers.
• Implement risk management strategies and oversee capital base utilization.
• Manage a team responsible for executing transactions and managing risks.
• Coordinate financial management of country subscriptions and pre-financing activities.
• Provide technical advice to ensure compliance with operational efficiency standards.
• Engage with donors and financing partners for resource mobilization.
