Senior Platform Engineer (Remote, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves building and evolving a next-generation GitOps platform for a company specializing in AI-based sports camera technology. The position focuses on enhancing developer experience and optimizing infrastructure to support thousands of hours of sports video processing daily.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing production infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
• Understanding of observability practices for monitoring and alerting.
• Awareness of security best practices in platform design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the GitOps platform to enhance developer experience.
• Support service migrations to the platform, collaborating with product teams.
• Maintain and optimize the platform on AWS EKS and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
• Debug complex distributed systems across multiple environments.
• Create documentation and tools to simplify infrastructure usage.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities for complex distributed systems.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for team discussions and feedback.
• Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., Flux, ArgoCD) and multi-cloud architecture is a plus.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
