Senior Software Developer (DevOps/MLOps, Remote)

Job summary

This position involves working with modern technologies to transform data into actionable insights, specifically for defense applications. The role focuses on bridging the gap between data science and operations through DevOps and MLOps practices, ensuring effective deployment and management of machine learning models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Several years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages used for data science.
• Experience in backend development, particularly with Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-native design patterns.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Python tools and workflows for data scientists.
• Develop infrastructure software to integrate machine learning models.
• Design and implement deployment pipelines for Python components.
• Create automated testing frameworks.
• Ensure scalability and implement performance monitoring and security measures.
• Collaborate with data scientists, testers, and system architects on new features.

Skills

• Proficient in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Bitbucket and project management tools like JIRA.
