Senior Software Developer (Industrial Automation, Remote)

Job summary

Seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a Software R&D team focused on innovative platforms. The role involves collaborating with teams and customers to design solutions, enhance software, troubleshoot issues, and support global deployments, all aimed at optimizing industrial processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience in an industrial setting.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Chemical/Electronics Engineering, or Process Control, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in software design, development, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, .NET (C#, cross-platform), and MS SQL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to gather requirements and desired business outcomes.
• Analyze requirements and document technical specifications for features or system design.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions.
• Develop and improve software products.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and debug existing software applications.
• Provide support for colleagues and customers, including troubleshooting of installed systems.
• Potential travel to industrial sites for deployment, testing, and validation of solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for product development.

Education
